TURNTABLE CRASH TEST SUCCESSFUL
ACHIEVES DOD K12/L2 RATING
Macton and Rock12 are pleased to
announce that the Turntable Vehicle
Barrier (TVB) device was crash tested to
the K12 standard at Texas Transportation
Institute, in College Station, Texas.

The TVB successfully stopped and
destroyed the 15,000 lb vehicle traveling
above 50 mph, achieving the K12/L2
rating as certified by the U.S. Department
of Defense.

The TVB is a shallow foundation, non-
hydraulic, operable device designed to be
easily installed and incorporated into an
architectural streetscape. The patented
device requires less than 30 inches of
depth, and uses an electrical drive system
to open and close secure streets and
driveways.

The surface of the TVB can accept custom
paving to match the surrounding roadway
and its impact pins can be fitted with
architectural sleeves of various shapes
and sizes, as well as walls or even
sculptures.

                                             PATENT PROTECTED
