Express Press Awarded University Business Forms Printing Contract
or four years, University employees have been able to order business cards, letterhead, and #10 envelopes online. With the contract ending, committee members Amy Amoni, Joanne Birdsell, Joann Hulett, Tina Jankowski, Koelle Jech, Kara Kelly, Tim Malott, Cynthia Maciejczyk, JoAnn Norris, Marissa Runkle, and Heidi Uebelhor decided to expand the online business form ordering options. An RFP was issued and Express Press was selected to provide the new expanded website and printing service. “When we reviewed the items that had been ordered for the various offices, we were surprised at how many different variations there were for each of the forms. If we were going to send out a new bid for an online ordering system, we decided it was an opportunity to enforce some standards and also make it easier to order for everyone,” says Cynthia Maciejczyk, director of the Notre Dame Media Group. Within a few months, in addition to ordering business cards, letterhead,

and envelopes using the new Express Press website, University employees will be able to order official memo pads, routing slips, FYI slips, notecards, 6”x9” envelopes, 10”x13” envelopes, and mailing labels.
“Express Press has been a preferred print vendor for the University for several years. We’ve always been pleased with their service and print quality and look forward to this new expanded partnership,” says Maciejczyk. The new Express Press ordering site can be accessed through inside.nd.edu or Procurement’s website at buy.nd.edu.
