EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


MWEB Holdings was founded in 1997 and is today South Africa’s leading Internet Service
Provider (ISP). It is highly regarded for its wide range of exclusive content, differentiated
tools and services. MWEB Holdings is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Naspers group, which
includes MultiChoice, M-Net, SuperSport and Media24 (newspapers and magazines) and pay-
TV operations.

The company comprises of two main divisions: MWEB Home, which is focused on the home
and leisure market, and MWEB Business, which offers products and services for businesses to
integrate their IT infrastructure and business processes with the Internet.

CommerceZone, a division of MWEB Holdings, is active in the Business to Business e-
commerce market with products ranging from strategic sourcing to e-procurement platforms
for the group and external customers.

How does the MWEB Business Partner Programme Work?

The MWEB Business Partner Programme is a partnership with selected companies around
South Africa. There are a number of benefits for both MWEB Business and the business
partner. While we have the opportunity to increase our market share, turnover and
brand awareness; the business partner is given the opportunity to build a profitable,
annuity based revenue business with minimal risk.

The Business Model

The business model is a simple, tried and tested one, which is favourable to both the
business partner and MWEB Business.

Outlined below is a simple table that illustrates the commission structure which is
annuity based and paid monthly upon receipt of an invoice from the business partner.
This will exclude Telkom costs.

        Monthly Revenue                   Percentage commission
        R 0.00 to R 9 999.00              8.3%
        R 10 000.00 to R 49 999.99        10%
        R 50 000.00 to R 99 999.99        12%
        R100 000.00 and more              14%

MWEB Business will continue to pay the monthly commissions until the Business Partner
Agreement is cancelled and/or the customer’s service is terminated.

Training
Should your application to become a partner be successful, MWEB Business will provide
training on products, services and all procedures required to make the programme
operate efficiently.

Contracts
The contract for products and services provided will be between MWEB Business and the
end user. The end user will be invoiced by MWEB Business and will pay MWEB Business
directly. The end user will be an MWEB Business customer.

Reporting
Reports will be sent to the Business Partner on a monthly basis. We will also send all
purchase orders to assist you to reconcile your commissions and invoice MWEB Business.

our partners the power to develop using our infrastructure and support. What's more, we
offer a wide range of products to suit an assortment of your customers needs, from the
smaller ‘one man’ businesses to large organisations.
