Two-pipe flow sharing valve
Method of Operation
Flow sharing By using thermostatic valves in conjunction with radiator
valve with thermostats, room temperature is individually controlled and
external energy is saved.
thread The valves are controlled by the thermostat sensors. As air from
the room passes over the sensor it causes this to expand as the
temperature rises or contract as the temperature falls. This in
turn causes the waterway through which hot water passes to
increase or decrease in size. The valve permits only the amount

Return: MNG flow sharing valve, first radiator with MNG thermostatic valve for the return
The type F flow sharing lockshield valve, in conjunction with the two-pipe flow sharing valve, is a combination which can be universally
applied for two-pipe flow sharing systems with opposite end connections. With assymetric connections (see diagram) the first
radiator is fitted with a thermostatic valve for the return and the last radiator is fitted with a lockshield valve. For symmetric pipework
arrangement, the last radiator in the circuit is fitted with a thermostatic valve for the return and a lockshield valve on the flow.
So that the heating medium in the first chamber flows upwards and then diagonally through the radiator, a flow restrictor must be
fitted on the inlet to the radiator.
