1. WELCOME AND REVIEW AGENDA

Janet Keyes called the meeting to order. Richard Crane attended the teleconference as the
representative of the DICOM Ad-Hoc Codes group of WG 8 (Structured Reporting).

2. REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
The meeting minutes for October 1-2 will be approved along with these minutes at the next
  face-to-face meeting.

3. REVIEW OF PREVIOUS ACTION ITEMS

  Chest CAD SR:
 Janet/Julian: Extract the portions of Supplement 65, Chest CAD SR, revision 20 that are
to be postponed, and copy them to a white paper as future work.
 Shelly: Investigate the use of ureteral versus urethral stent, and report at the follow-up
teleconference. Completed: use ureteral stent only.
 Julian: Provide definitions for the remaining few terms, mostly related to calcium
scoring, check on the coronary artery terms, and report at the follow-up teleconference.
     Completed.
 Julian/Topher/Bob: Discuss calcium scoring characteristics with respective algorithm
experts and report at the follow-up teleconference. Completed.
 Janet: Present Supplement 65, Chest CAD SR to WG 6 for Letter Ballot approval.

  Breast Imaging Report:
 Carla: Make arrangements to present Breast Imaging Report to BI-RADS® committee.
 Fred: Write up the storing of the Data Record (NMD) as a template for an Evidence
Document. Extract rows 6-9 from TID XX00 in supXX_06BreastImagingReport.doc.
 Janet/Carol: Create a template and context groups (with definitions) for the interventional
procedure characteristics, and report at the follow-up teleconference. Completed.
 Steve: Finish Example 4, incorporate the interventional procedure updates, and report at
     the follow-up teleconference. Completed.
 Janet: Present Supplement 79, Breast Imaging Report to WG 6 for Public Comment
     approval.

  Patient Clinical History:
 Janet: Present Supplement 75, Patient Clinical History to WG 6 for Public Comment
      approval.

  Other:
 Carol: Draft a Correction Proposal for the desired changes to the code meanings in Part
     16, Annex B, Context ID 6019, 6020, 6021.
 Janet: Create folders in the WG 15 directory on the NEMA FTP server by topic, and
move the appropriate files from the top level down to the new folders, Chest CAD SR,
Patient Clinical History, and Breast Imaging Report. Completed.
 Janet: Present updated CP-339 to WG 6, with recommendation for Voting Packet.
 Janet: Finish preparing the Correction Proposal for the addition of the Volume
Measurement template as an included content item in the Single Image Finding related
     Templates of Mammography CAD SR.
 Janet: Present a request to the DICOM Standards Committee at the December meeting to
approve Fischer Imaging as a member of WG 15.
4. CHEST CAD SR

The group concurred that ureteral stent is the appropriate term to include in the non-lesion
object context group, and agreed on a definition. The group accepted the definitions that
Julian provided for the remaining calcium scoring related terms.

For the coronary arteries, Richard Crane suggested including the existing context groups
from PS 3.16 (Context ID 3014) and Supplement 66, Catheterization Lab Structured Reports,
Letter Ballot (Context ID Cx3045), rather than listing them separately in Context ID YY34.4
Vascular Anatomy. The group agreed. Richard will search the SNOMED database for
coded terms that match the new terms and definitions listed in Supplement 65, and provide
possible SNOMED code substitutions to Janet.

Regarding the additional calcium scoring characteristics, the group decided to include both
the numeric “Threshold CT Number” and text “Calculation Description” as “Inferred From”
children of the numeric calculated value in TID XX08 Modifiers. One of the concept names
for the calculated value, from Context ID YY62, is “Calcium score”.

5. BREAST IMAGING REPORT

The group accepted Example 4 and the new TID XX04 Interventional Procedure
Characteristics, which is included from TID XX02 Breast Imaging Report Section. Janet
will request Carol to provide the remaining definitions.

Potential external coding schemes for the list of fluid colors were discussed, including
industrial identification of paint colors. Richard will check SNOMED as well. Richard
questioned whether the codes for Context IDs YY00 Breast Procedure Reported and YY01
Breast Procedure Reason should be taken from external coding schemes that are used for
billing and reimbursement purposes, such as ICD-9 or CPT. The coding issues will be
addressed during the Public Comment phase.
