POLICY:

Preventive maintenance is performed on all oxygen regulators between each client according to
manufacturers’ specifications.

PROCEDURE:

        Clean the unit according to company equipment cleaning policy.

        Visually inspect the unit for any damage.

        Verify flow rate according to the manufacturer’s instructions and check for leaks.

        If the unit is functioning properly/accurately, place the unit in a clean plastic bag, tag it as
         “Client Ready” and place it on the shelf in the clean area of the warehouse.

        Document completion/results of the preventive maintenance.
