The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) is accepting
applications to fill a Field Operations Manager opening within the Maintenance
& Operations Department. The primary responsibilities associated with this
position include planning, supervising, organizing, and managing the
maintenance, repair, and field operations of the water and wastewater functions
of the District. This position reports directly to the M & O Superintendent.
Following the selection process to fill this full-time position, there will be two
incumbents working within this job classification.

Five years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance, repair,
and operation of a public utility or water and sewer district is required. A high
school diploma (or GED) with at least one year of job-related college level
courses are required. The incumbent in this position must possess and maintain
a valid driver’s license, industrial first aid card, Water Distribution Manager II
certification (within one year), and a Wastewater Collections Specialist II
certification (within one year).

Monthly salary range during 2009: $5,236-$7,017, dependent on experience.
