BURSARY APPLICATION

General Information
The aim of the Hampshire Netball Association (HNA) Bursary is to support
affiliated members with Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The
HNA recognises that courses to achieve new qualifications can be costly and
offers financial awards to support those who are involved in Netball
throughout Hampshire.

Who can apply?
Any affiliated member to Hampshire Netball Association can apply for a
bursary.


Bursaries will be awarded to:
Affiliated HNA members, towards costs for England Netball recognized
coaching and umpiring awards. These include;
     UKCC Level 1, 2 and 3 Awards
     Umpire awards C, B and A
     Table Officials Award


Eligibility criteria?
      All applicants must be affiliated to HNA
      Only one bursary per individual can be awarded per annum
      Bursaries can only be given for the cost of a course. Bursaries will not
       be awarded for travel costs or accommodation

How much can I apply for?
HNA bursaries will pay up to 50% of the total course cost to successful
applicants.

How do I apply?
      Applicants will need to complete an official application form and return
       to the Hampshire Netball Association at least 4 weeks prior to the
       course date
      The Committee will consider applications not received 4 weeks prior to
       the course.
      All applications must be counter signed by either a member of your
       Netball League Committee

How are Bursaries assessed?
The HNA committee will assess all applications made. The benefit of the
course to the netball community will be considered together with the amount
of funding available.

Notification
Applicants will be notified as to the success of their application two (2) weeks
prior to start of the course.

Any award will be paid by cheque to the applicant and sent to the address
stated on the application form after proof of attendance has been received.

Resources
The Bursary fund has limited resources. We can therefore not guarantee that
your application will receive support as funding is subject to availability.
