Domination means holding the first ten positions on page 1 and many more positions on pages 2 - 3 and so on. That will mean that a visitor searching for your keyword will go to one of your pages and eventually end up on your site. To achieve any ranking on page 1 of a search engine you will need a site that contains relatively good content and value back links. Value back links includes having a link from a site similar in topic to your own and the holy grail is to have the linking site that holds your link to have a high page rank, greater than 3 is better. Well, how about a PAGE RANK 7 back link to your site that will automatically become viral over time boosting your site to NUMBER ONE on any search engine? This lens is to describe one very easy technique for getting high ranking back links to your site. I welcome you and hope you enjoy my latest experiment in dominating page 1. This technique will work in establishing a new website, I had some of my keywords rank number 1 in less than fifteen days on Google. It will get your new site indexed in very quick time without the need to submit any url's. This technique will also boost your keywords up the rankings on an established blog, website, article site and will catapult your links and value on each and everyone of your lens. Scribd Page Rank 7 Back Link The technique I use was carried out at Scribd. This is basically a site where you upload documents, images, pdf's, word documents and video's. I chose this site as many Web 2.0 sites now include a NO FOLLOW in their external links. Friendfeed and Twitter are such sites.
Here is my invitation link to my Scribd group that I started so you can see this in action. I do not expect anyone to join this group, unless you blog or write about women's hair style, but
you will see how it all looks and works. Here is the link TerryG on Scribd. It will open in a new window. You will find a group that I started called New Hair Styles For Women. You will see a link titled "Check Out The Groups Main Page". Now what you see here is an image. Brightens the place up. The major point to view here is the Documents listed in the page. This is where it all starts. Before we go on though, I started the group as an experiment as the way I see it, new fresh content from other members who join will value add to the group with their content and thus will be often spidered by the search engines that ultimately will soar the page rank value in time. My point is, you do not have to start a group as it will look the same under your own profile. It's just you then who adds new content. How Is It Done There are two ways that you can approach this. I personally used a pdf or e-book creation software as I discussed on my hub E Writer Pro Full Function Software. The second way is to upload a Word document, but I found the links in this type of document did not show up. This defeated the purpose of getting the back link so I went with a pdf upload. This is how I did it. I went to my article site and copied those articles and inserted them into the E-Book software. With the software it has a tab NEW. This opens a page in the software where you paste your article. Another tab highlights the URL so it links. Tidy up the page with some styling and font changes, make sure it all fits neatly and press the pdf button. The article is now saved as a pdf file. Here are a few screenshots showing how very simple this is. We Now Have Our PDF File Let's recap what we have done. We went to our article and reproduced it in a pdf format and saved it on our computer. Duplicate Content? - probably, but the article has a free reprint right to it anyway and has been repinted all over the net. That's not the point - the point is in our article in the pdf we have our LINKS to our site we want to promote. If it does cause concern then you can simply pdf your own unique content and point the url's to your pages. This would work wonders here on Squidoo. You can have a teaser one page pdf leading to your Lens with links embedded through the pdf file.
Go To Scribd And Upload Now we go to our Scribd account and upload the document. This is very similar to the photo capsule here on hubpages. Upload the document to Scribd, write a short description, add your tags (very important) and choose your category and save. You now have your pdf on Scribd for the world to see and access. Is that all there is to it? --- Yes but you want me to now tell you the Tricks!! Here are the tricks that makes this all work, makes it very very viral and builds you high page rank back links, indexes a site quick time and helps positions soar up search engines. P.S. Don't tell anyone, keep it to yourself. This is pretty good stuff you know. The Tricks As we started I gave you a link to my Group page. If you clicked on one of the pdf articles and opened it, then you would have seen the first trick. Right at the top was the open url to the main website page. That url is indexed and becomes our backlink. In time the page itself will get good page rank and pass that onto our site, page blog or whatever. Also, a visitor might come to the page, look at it and go, "Oh No" or "That's not what I wanted" and will possibly click the link to see if that's any better. We then get a visitor to our site. Second trick is that during the article you write, embed deep linking anchor text links to your website. That will then give you good deep linking when the search engine bot comes through and indexes the pdf page. More links. When you upload your document to Scribd you have the option to mark it Private or Public. Mark it public so everyone can see it. Also while your there on your Scribd page you can tick the Like It box as well as Add Favorites box. More links. When you upload your document don't forget to pick a category and fill in the tags section. Each tag you fill in is another back link. Make the tags topical and relevant. Final trick, keep adding documents. Make your documents writing to be interesting, contain good deep linking keywords for your anchor text and mix them up. Rinse and repeat.
Conclusion That is a pretty basic but quite comprehensive overview on how you can promote every page of your site and gain some very powerful high page rank backlinks to it. It is very simple to use, very similar in style to uploading files here on Hubpages. Don't abuse the service is one thing to remember. Use it by providing good content, something well written and of value. Remember it is your upload page but you are allowing everyone to see, read and download your content. It is just another extension of an article site or You Tube where others can downlaod and reproduce your content. That - means - more - backlinks. Backlinks means high search engine positioning that means more visitors and more visitors makes a site or page. Do not be surprised to see your Scribd page hit page 1 of a search engine within hours of you making one. That will be one more position you have on page 1 to make it your total domination of page one on any search engine. There's One Thing I Forgot When you have uploaded your pdf to your Scribd page and you have clicked on the pdf file you will see along the top a set of option buttons. Go to edit and open this. You will see a list of options. What I did was filled them in properly and under the tab More Descriptions I put in the home page url in the section titled Source URL. I then went to the next tab Display and I ticked the Book tab.
