Risk Analyst

Purpose of the job
• Identify, measure, monitor, report and control Risk and help in developing of risk
management systems.
• Provide analytical support to the Risk Management group and Management of the
company.
• Alert Risk Analyst of emerging risk issues to ensure that appropriate counter measures
are taken.
Responsibilities
1.Credit Risk
• Check new counterparties and deals vs. agreed conditions.
• Maintain counterparty database (IRIS).
• Help with development of credit and risk analysis projects.
• Forecast and define risk of default probabilities.
• Approve a deal or counterparty or propose to the Risk Committee.
• Monitor limits and if new deals entered in line with agreements.
• Monitor the aging list and act as necessary.
• Recognise possible meeting opportunities.

2.Country Risk
• Up-date the rating and country limits (at least 2 times per year).
• Propose actions when issue arise in a country.
• Monitor exposure limits for Country Report.
• Recommend or accept corrective action to manager if/when needed.
• Issue country exposure report (1 per week).

3. Projects
• Maintain and improve IRIS database.
• Maintain accuracy of information in IRIS counterparty database.
• Follow -up on implementation of new features of the country exposure reporting
(CER) system and information displayed.
• Maintain Counterparty family tree.

• Collect and analyse previous day market data and maintain the price catalogue.
• Collect and analyse internal and external market information.
• Collect and analyse trade position information.
• Create a daily performance (DPReport) or other detailed risk report (e.g. whole
company or business segment).
• Provide DPReport and other risk reports to the Management of the company with
accurate commentary.
• Work on internal department projects.
• Perform ad –hoc analyses on trading risk/performance.
• Maintain, report on and analyse Company drawdown.
• Maintain Global Book system.
• Analyse MtM report

Educational level & Expierence required
• University degree or equivalent in Economics/Finance or Mathematic area.

• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Purchasing Specialist

Independently complete procurement and logistical transactions for the goods,
materials and services required by NRG’s Corporate, Regional and Plant functions.
Manage the development, retention, and revision of contracts and/or purchase orders
between Suppliers and NRG Energy Inc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Primary

•Create contracts in accordance with NRG Energy Inc. contract standards •Monitor
contracts approaching expiration date and total expenditures to supplement or re-bid
the contracts •Ensure supplier compliance with contract documents through contacts
with customers and suppliers •Develop standard purchase order, FOB, payment terms,
delivery and price •Monitor supplier compliance to basic terms and conditions 3.
Tertiary Elements Supplier Management/ Vendor Relations •Investigate, meet and
interview new and alternative sources. Contact other companies for information
•Monitor, audit and evaluate supplier performance •Interface with suppliers to provide
professional procurement services •Assure compliance with NRG Energy Inc. corporate
policies and programs

Louis Dreyfus Commodities a well-established firm (involved primarily in international
trading and merchandising of agricultural commodities, Biofuels and metals) has a
unique opportunity for a Merchandiser / Trader to join our team at our ethanol plant in
Norfolk, NE. This position originates corn and negotiates forward contracts to buyers of
distillers’ grains, assists and implements in devising corn origination strategies and
distiller’s grains sales programs and manages logistics and receivables in support of the
ethanol processing operation at a dry mill ethanol plant. We offer a comprehensive

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Aggressively originates corn by developing a rapport with local farming community
through direct communication.
 • Maintains daily communication, organizes logistical
services, and assists with accounting issues with suppliers and customers.

inbound truck logistics for corn origination and outbound truck logistics for distillers’
grains.
 • Negotiates forward sales contracts to buyers of wet and dry distillers’ grains
and devises and executes origination strategies in corn and distillers’ grains.

Additional Responsibilities

• Gathers news, statistics and information related to individual commodity supply and
demand from customers and trade sources, and distributes that information to the
remainder of the group to support overall strategic trading/positioning (i.e., contributes
to research function).
 • Identifies, qualifies and captures new business; develops and
contributes to customer/supplier list.
 • Takes inventory measurements on corn,
chemicals, and By-products.
 • Works closely with corn receiving office, learns
Compuweigh and probing / grading operations. Occasionally communicates with
truckers / suppliers regarding quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

on reporting the trade activity around petroleum trading.

Position responsibilities:
  Delivering daily reports calculating MTM and Position
  Identifying, calculating and reporting factors impacting portfolio value and position
       change
  Monitor control limits for the portfolio across VaR, position limit and other exposures
  Develop and report on MTM versus actualized profitability and its change or variance
       components
  Assist accounting and other teams as necessary to ensure proper invoicing, trade
       settlement and performance forecasting
  Assist in reconciling intercompany transactions and structured deals across books as
       necessary
Requirements
