Risk Analyst

Purpose of the job
• Identify, measure, monitor, report and control Risk and help in developing of risk
management systems.
• Provide analytical support to the Risk Management group and Management of the
• Alert Risk Analyst of emerging risk issues to ensure that appropriate counter measures
are taken.
1.Credit Risk
• Check new counterparties and deals vs. agreed conditions.
• Maintain counterparty database (IRIS).
• Help with development of credit and risk analysis projects.
• Forecast and define risk of default probabilities.
• Approve a deal or counterparty or propose to the Risk Committee.
• Monitor limits and if new deals entered in line with agreements.
• Monitor the aging list and act as necessary.
• Recognise possible meeting opportunities.

2.Country Risk
• Up-date the rating and country limits (at least 2 times per year).
• Propose actions when issue arise in a country.
• Monitor exposure limits for Country Report.
• Recommend or accept corrective action to manager if/when needed.
• Issue country exposure report (1 per week).

3. Projects
• Maintain and improve IRIS database.
• Maintain accuracy of information in IRIS counterparty database.
• Follow -up on implementation of new features of the country exposure reporting
(CER) system and information displayed.
• Maintain Counterparty family tree.

• Collect and analyse previous day market data and maintain the price catalogue.
• Collect and analyse internal and external market information.
• Collect and analyse trade position information.
• Create a daily performance (DPReport) or other detailed risk report (e.g. whole
company or business segment).
• Provide DPReport and other risk reports to the Management of the company with
accurate commentary.
• Work on internal department projects.
• Perform ad –hoc analyses on trading risk/performance.
• Maintain, report on and analyse Company drawdown.
• Maintain Global Book system.

Educational level & Expierence required

Purchasing Specialist

Independently complete procurement and logistical transactions for the goods,
materials and services required by NRG’s Corporate, Regional and Plant functions.
Manage the development, retention, and revision of contracts and/or purchase orders
between Suppliers and NRG Energy Inc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Primary

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Aggressively originates corn by developing a rapport with local farming community
