TEAMS
We need early volunteers for the 2010 teams. If you are interested in competing on behalf of the Riding
Club please pay your subscription before January to make sure your name is on the Stoneleigh list in
time for the close of team entries. If you would like to be considered please fill in the appropriate part on
your 2010 membership form. (Enclosed)

NB Please note that your horse’s vaccination must comply with Riding Club Rules, there is ZERO
tolerance at Qualifiers if this rule is not complied with.

Teams will be selected from members who are seen to be supporting the club throughout the year.

The Team Selector for the Senior Indoor Dressage Qualifier in February is Sally Callow - Junior Teams
Catherine Martin

The Team Selector for the Novice Indoor Show Jumping Qualifier (Juniors and Seniors) held Saturday
20th and Sunday 21st February 2010 is Catherine Martin

Teams will be selected early in January. Please express your interest immediately.

The finals will be held at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire

You must be prepared to travel to the Area Competition and also the Championships if your team
qualifies. You will be expected to pay the Area Qualifier entry fee, including the entry to BRC before the
Qualifier. All costs will be available for you to consider before you confirm you wish to be in the team.
You will have to pay the entry fees at this time.
If you are unable to fulfil this commitment, your fees are refundable on production of vet or doctors
certificate, or by team selectors committee. If you are unable to produce a certificate but your place is
filled by a reserve, you will be eligible to a refund of the area fee only.
These terms are in place to ensure we can send as many teams as possible to the qualifiers; giving all
members the chance to ride a qualifying course as part of a team.

If you or your team qualify for the Championships ECRC will pay the British Riding Club Championship
entry. Fundraising events will be held throughout the year to help raise money for team events, it is
hoped that team members will assist in the organising of these events. All team members who assist in
the organising or running of a team fundraising event will be entitled to a share of the fund to attend the
final.

Full details, including costs and required commitment will be forwarded to anyone who expresses an
interest in competing in a team, you will be required to sign and return the acceptance form to reserve
your place on a team, failure to do this will result in the place being offered to another rider.

You will be issued with Team clothing that you will be expected to look after and return clean. The team
colours are Red & Black.
