The meetings will be held under the Sporting Code and Standing Regulations of the A.C.U. 2009 edition, the
Championship Conditions, these Supplementary Regulations and any further Instructions Issued or Official

Solo / Quad riders holding a current ACU or SACU licence and members of the Mid Wales MX Club. Day
licences and memberships will be available
As per the 2009 Championship Regulations and ACU Handbook.
7 NUMBER OF RIDERS & DRIVERS ALLOWED
All solo classes Max 40 per Class
All Quad Classes Max 34 per Class
Subject to entries the MX1 and MX2 / BW, SW 85cc & Youth Quads classes may be amalgamated
Entries must be made on the official form and sent by the closing date as stated on the entry form.
The club reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving a reason.
Adult Solo / Quad entry fee: £35.00 Youth Solo / Quad £25.00 Day Licences £10
Full club membership is £25 and Day membership is £5
9 SIGNING ON / TECHNICAL CONTROL
Solos / Quads Sunday 3 May 07.30 to 09.00. All competitors MUST sign on before Technical Control.
This event will be run under Basic + Insurance Cover.
11 TECHNICAL CONTROL
Competitors are required to produce their machines to Technical Control. When more than one motorcycle is
entered they must be presented to Technical Control at the same time. No competitor will be permitted to
practice or race unless the Technical Official had passed clothing and machine.
Technical control will be between 07:30 and 09:00 hours for all classes
12 SOUND CONTROL
Sound Control after a race –Any rider whose machine is above the limit (dB/A – 96 for 2 stroke machines &
dB/A 94 for 4 stroke machines + 2dB/A post race tolerance) – whether it be one of the riders chosen at random
or any other rider whose motorcycle is controlled/verified – may be penalised by the Clerk of the Course.
Practice will commence at 09:15
Solos / Quads 2 Laps
Class 1 Junior 65cc 12 Mins + 1 Lap,
Class 2/3 BW / SW 85cc 12 Mins + 1 Lap,
Class 4 Open Youth 15 mins + 1 Lap,
Adult Solos 20 minutes + 1 lap
Youth Quad 15 Mins + 1 lap
Adult Quad 20 Mins + 1 lap
16 METHOD OF START
The start will be live engine, clutch type using a Bungee system
Once a rider has taken his position at the start, he cannot change it.
A rider is deemed to be under starters orders having been called to the start line, the starter will hold up a green
flag from which moment the riders are under his control, until all riders are on the start line. When all the riders
are on the start line, the starter will hold up a 15 second board for a full 15 seconds. At the end of the 15
seconds, he will hold up a 5 seconds board and the gate will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second
Board is shown.
No one except RIDERS and OFFICIALS shall be permitted to the area of the start. Riders are allowed to groom
the area behind the start gate only, provided no tools are used or outside assistance provided.
17 FINISH OF RACE
Solo / Quads must complete 75% of the distance of the winner and pass the chequered flag to be classified as

“ The insurance for this event will be Basic (limit of liability £10M). Medical Malpractice
insurance (limit of liability £5M) is included. There is NO Peronal Accident Insurance for
Competitors. Competitors are therefore strongly recommended to purchase such Cover which is
available through the Locktons website (www.locktonmotorsport.com) or the ACU website
The riding in the paddock of any pit bikes or mini bikes is not allowed.
Camping is available at the track from 16.00 on Saturday 18 April 2009
No bonfires are allowed & ALL generators MUST be switched off by 12.00 Midnight
