Profile
With over five years experience in land use planning, I have gained a strong grasp of the current and long range
planning processes. I have extensive experience analyzing and researching zoning codes, comprehensive plans,
and other land use ordinances. As a planner I have successfully taken countless land use projects from conception
to completion in a timely and effective manner. I am very familiar with the numerous entitlement processes that
projects go through at the local, state, and national level.

        • Performed comprehensive feasibility research and analyses for various types of land use proposals.
        • Operated as the Lead GIS analyst/technician to prepare GIS exhibits, maps and diagrams in support of
          land use proposals and applications.
        • Prepared SEPA checklists, design guidelines, boundary line adjustments, conditional and administrative
          use permits, variances, rezones, comprehensive plan amendments, etc.
        • Managed numerous projects and coordinated with in-house Surveying and Engineering Departments to
          prepare and submit projects for review.
        • Performed a significant amount of coordinating between public agencies and departments.
        • Represented proposals in public and in private proceedings to city/county boards, commissions, hearing
          examiners, and the general public.
        • Held regular meetings with agency staff and clients to conduct negotiations.
        • Managed client accounts to include establishing tasks and budgets.

        • Coordinated efforts in the planning and permitting of a new clubhouse and rugby field.
        • Met with City of Tacoma Planners to resolve site plan and land use issues.
