							                  STRATEGIC PLAN COUNCIL CONFERENCE

The Branchburg Township School District will be hosting a Strategic Plan Council
Conference as the next step in the District’s Strategic Planning Process. The Conference
will run from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening, March 12th, and on Saturday,
March 13th , from 8:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Branchburg Central Middle School Media
Center. The purpose of the 2-day Strategic Planning Conference is to present the reports
of the two information committees, the State of the Schools Committee and the State of
the Community Committee. These reports will be discussed by all in attendance, with
subsequent School District goals and objectives developed. Anyone wishing to attend the
Conference is cordially invited to attend on either or both days. Those interested in

Strategic Planning is a process by which the Board of Education, District Administrators,
faculty, and the public create a template for educational programs and priorities. The
process is cyclical and begins anew every five years. The current process in Branchburg
commenced in November and is anticipated to run through June, at which point it is
expected that the Strategic Planning Committee will present its 5-year template to the
Board of Education. Anyone interested in participating in the project in any fashion
