Zoom Menu
From the home screen, press ZOOM to view the zoom menu. Press
the number to select an option.
Press 1 to select 1:ZBox to define a viewing window by specifying
the corners of the box.
Press 2 to select 2:Zoom In to zoom in on the current graph.
Press 3 to select 3:Zoom Out to zoom out on the current graph.
Press 4 to select 4:ZDecimal which sets Xmin = -4.7, Xmax = 4.7, Ymin = -3.1, Ymax = 3.1.
Each pixel represents 0.1 and the tic marks on each axis are equally spaced..
Press 5 to select 5:ZSquare which sets both axes to the same scale. For example, use ZSquare
to make a circle appear round.
Press 6 to select 6:ZStandard to obtain the standard viewing window which extends from -10 to
10 on each axis.
Press 7 to select 7:ZTrig which sets Xmin = -2, Xmax = 2, Ymin = -4, Ymax = 4, and Xscl = /2
when in radian mode. Use ZTrig when graphing a trigonometric function.
Press 8 to select 8:ZInteger which sets Xscl = 10, Yscl = 10, and centers the graph at the cursor
location.
Press 9 to select 9:ZoomStat which defines the viewing window to display a scatter plot (graph
of a data set).
Press 0 to select 0:ZoomFit which adjusts Ymin and Ymax to correspond to a given Xmin and
Xmax specified in the window settings.
Use the right thumb pad arrow key to highlight MEMORY to access
the memory menu. The important item in this menu is 4:Set
Factors… which allows you to set the magnifications when using
Zoom In or Zoom Out.
