Mailbox Summary
You will have the following standard mailboxes: Main,Sent, Deleted & Draft, plus
any mailboxes that you have created.
 Main. All new mail will be in this mail box, unless you have set rules to
      send them somewhere else.
 Sent. Your sent mail will only be saved here if you set your options to
save a copy of outgoing mail. (under Personal Account Options, Edit my
      preferences)
 Deleted. This mailbox is activated when you set your "Deleted messages"
preference to "Move to Deleted folder".
 Draft. This mailbox is activated when you select to "Save", rather than
"Send", a message that you are composing. You can select a message in
the draft folder at a later time, modify it, and send it.

Mailbox size is displayed below the folders. This is the total size of your mailbox.
The size limit for your mailbox is 30MB (30,000k). Once you reach that limit, you
will not be able to receive any more emails until you delete some emails to make
space. Remember your mailbox size includes the sent and deleted mailboxes.

Using Other Mail Clients

You can access your account through web messaging or by using another email
client, such as Netscape Messenger or Outlook. You may find that Netscape
offers more convenient address book features, and will not time out when you
are timing a long email. Either way you will need to become familiar with web
messaging service for making changes to your account such as passwords, mail
forwarding, and other options.

You will need to configure other mail clients to send and receive your email from
whiterabbit. At Meredith, we currently support Netscape 7. Please see our
Configuring Netscape helpdoc.

Below is the information you will need to configure other mail clients:

userid: the first part of you email address before the @meredith.edu
outgoing mail server: whiterabbit.meredith.edu
incoming mail server: whiterabbit.meredith.edu
