					The 2009 Spooky Ghoul Carnival is a hair-raising, fun-draising Halloween event benefitting Clark County School District clubs, groups
and organizations. The event is held in conjunction with People’s Autism Foundations’ Annual Funtown Frightfest. Home to Monster
Mayhem Haunted Village, Boca Park Funtown Frightfest is the largest Halloween festival in Las Vegas, featuring 10 acres of fun, food
and frights. New for 2009, Funtown Frightfest II will be held in Henderson.

WHAT: A Spooky Ghoul Carnival that puts the “fun” in fun-draising. Las Vegas students can design, decorate and staff a carnival
booth to raise funds for their own school club or group.

WHERE: SUMMERLIN: Boca Park Shopping Center (Rampart and Alta). HENDERSON: Galleria Mall (Sunset and Stephanie).

WHEN: ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: Saturday, October 17, 2009. Setup 10am -12 noon. Festival is open 12 noon - 10pm.
MIDDLE SCHOOLS: Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Setup 3pm - 5pm. Festival is open 5pm - 10pm.
HIGH SCHOOLS: Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Setup 3pm - 5pm. Festival is open 5pm - 10pm.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Parent Teacher Associations or any school sanctioned club, group or organization.

PARTICIPATION COST: FREE! Thanks to Big Box Moving & Storage, Kids Fun Centers and other generous sponsors, participation in
the 2009 Spooky Ghoul Carnival is FREE! Each individual group must fund and decorate their own booth.

WHO BENEFITS: All proceeds collected at individual booths are retained by the participating school club or group. Get creative.
The ingenuity of your booth concept will play a huge role in determining its popularity and revenue generating potential. The sky’s
the limit!

BOOTH RULES: Booths must be in good taste (no profanity or excess gore). Any food item sold or distributed must be pre-
packaged. Sale or distribution of beverage items prohibited. Each club/group must be represented by an adult supervisor, who re-
mains on-site at all times. Other than that, fundraising ideas are limited only by the creativity of the school club or group. REGISTER
EARLY! Fundraising booths and concepts are on a first come/first serve basis, and are subject to approval to avoid duplications.

BOOTH DECORATIONS: Win valuable prizes!!! Celebrity judges will award prizes for Best Decorated Booth, Most Creative Booth,
Spookiest Booth, Best Team Spirit and more.

PROMOTIONS: Various radio media sponsors will be providing radio spots, a live remote and prize donations. To maximize turnout,
additional media sponsors, as well as an aggressive PR and promotional campaign will be implemented. Individual schools are also
asked to support their participating school groups by promoting the event via signage and flyers (provided) and P.A. announcements.
