Sponsorship Mishloach Manot mish-LOH- mah-NOTE, Pronounced mish-LOH-ach mah-NOTE, literally it means, "sending of portions", also known as Purim baskets. They are gifts of food and drink that are sent to friends, relatives, neighbors, teachers, business associates and any other acquaintances at Purim. The mitzvah of giving Mishloach Manot derives from the Book of Esther. It is meant to ensure that everyone has enough food for the Purim feast held later in the day, and to increase love and friendship among Jews as a counter to Haman's assertion that the Jewish people are characterized by strife and disunity. Pre-order a Mishloach Manot and pick up during Carnival hours ONLY. Mishloach Manot baskets are only $18 each! Why not do a Mitzvah and order one for a friend?
