SLS (Library Services and CES)
Programme Approval Sign-off form
Version 1.0 September 2008

This form is to confirm that aspects of learning resources and employability have been
discussed by the programme development team with appropriate members of SLS, and
that they are satisfied that the necessary arrangements and support can be put in place
or have been arranged. Please send this form to Mr Oliver Pritchard (SLS) who will
ensure that it is considered by the appropriate members of Library Services and CES
and any other section as appropriate.

It is essential that this form is sent to SLS at the earliest opportunity so that discussions
take place during the developmental stages of the programme(s).

The form should be returned to the relevant Faculty Quality Officer, by the relevant SLS
representative. The programme approval panel will expect to receive two forms, one for
Library Services and related learning resources, and one from the Careers and
Employability Service. Other sections within SLS may use the form where applicable but
must inform QA&E that a form will be required.
