About David Van Knapp
Dave holds an undergraduate degree in physics from Holy Cross College and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He received
formal business training in Rochester Institute of Technology’s MBA program and in the executive program at INSEAD in France, one
of the world’s leading graduate business schools. Following a career as a publishing executive, he is now a private investor and author on
stock-related subjects. His latest book, published in March 2009 is “The Top 40 Dividend Stocks for 2009: Dividend Investing for the
Long Haul.” This is Dave’s second E-book in his annual Top 40 series. His earlier book, “Sensible Stock Investing: How to Pick, Value,
and Manage Stocks” (March, 2008) has a ﬁve-star reader rating on Amazon.com and has been praised in reviews. Dave and his wife, Sue,
