Follow-up Plan – After the Lunch and Learn Session
1. Three days after session – call or send “thank you” to everyone that attended – ask
them about their interest in changing the culture and behavior of their organization
and the performance of their people.
2. One week after your follow-up contact – call the participants to identify their degree
of interest. At this point you want to qualify attendees to determine those individuals
that have an interest and that you can convert to users of the 4 hour
Leadership/Supervision modules.
3. Depending on the interest you can send a specific topic flyer or in most cases send
The „Supervision Series Curriculum‟ found at www.vitaledu.com site, click on the left
side menu, Leadership/Supervision and then on the first box Supervision Series
Curriculum. This file is in word format, so you can replace the logo and tag line with
your branding – customize it to your college. If the potential client wants skill points
and objectives to all the modules – simply go to the next box and customize it also.
Individual titles are in the sixth box titled Supervision Series and can be customized.
4. At this point, if you haven‟t identified prospects that have expressed a sincere interest
in having your college do training for them – consider conducting another Lunch and
Learn on a different module. If your first session was on Essential Skills of
Leadership, conduct another Lunch and Learn on Essential Skill of Communications.
At this point you are trying to do two things – selling your college as a source for
training and demonstrate what skill base training can do to improve the performance
of and organizations key people – first line managers.
5. Your next step would be a proposal [scope of work] for the client – training their
Supervisors/leaders on the Vital Learning Supervision Series. Please call me –
Dodie Conklin VitalEDU at 800-344-4020 for pricing information for the entire Series
or specific modules. Each module is designed for a four-hour classroom delivery. If
the client wants blended learning, you can offer: Classroom/Online self-study, or a
blended format of Self-Study/Classroom.
Note: all 12 Leadership/Supervision modules are available in Spanish.
The main focus of Lunch and Learn is to create interest with organizations within your
community to use your college as a source of all of their training – additionally to use the four-
hour version of the Leadership/Supervision training to improve the performance and
effectiveness of their entire organization.
