CLASSES:

  1.    Purebred heifer calf, born on or after January 1, 2006, -registered/tattooed purebred with
        registration papers.

  2.    Purebred heifer, born on or after January 1, 2005, and before December 31, 2005, -
        registered/tattooed purebred with registration papers.

  3.    Purebred two year old female born on or after January 1, 2004, and before December 31,
        2004, with calf at foot, both cow and calf must be registered/tattooed purebred with
        registration papers.

  4.    Purebred mature female born prior to January 1, 2004, with calf at foot, both cow and calf
        must be registered/tattooed purebred with registration papers.

  5.    SPECIAL CLASS – Bred and owned (by any Junior member with his/her own tattoo and
        prefix) female shown in one of the classes 1 to 4

  6.    Purebred bull calf, born on or after January 1, 2006, -registered/tattooed purebred with
        registration papers.

  7.    SPECIAL CLASS – Bred and owned (by any Junior member with his/her own tattoo and
        prefix) male shown in class 6.

  8.    Yearling Steer – born January 1, to December 31, 2005. Steer must be registered in the
        Canadian Herdbook.

  9.    Commercial heifer calf, born on or after January 1, 2006, Calf must be registered in the
        Canadian Herdbook, .

  10.   Commercial heifer class, born January 1, to December 31, 2005, must be registered in the
        Canadian Herdbook.

  11.   Showmanship Classes (all ages at January 1, 2006)

        10A.       Peewee                 Under 8 years of age
        10B.       Juniors                Age 9 to 12 years of age
        10C        Intermediate           Age 13 to 16 years of age
        11C        Senior                 Age 17 to 21 years of age
NOTES:

–   This show is governed by the National Junior Shorthorn Show Rules and Guidelines, 2005 –
    attached to this document.
–   Calves used for conformation classes must be owned in whole or part by the Junior member or by a
    member of their immediate family, such a Parents, Grandparents, Aunts or Uncles, or legal
    guardians. Although, if a junior in question shows an animal as their 4-H project for that year, then
    they are able to use it in the Junior Show despite the fact they are not related directly to the owners
    of the animal.
–   U.S. Entries will be accepted provided the animal is registered in the Canadian Herd Book.
–   The show will follow Canadian Association show eligibility standards.
–   Deadline for Applications is: June 1, 2006 to Nancy Brown-Andison, 86 Arborglen Drive,
    Georgetown, Ontario, L7G 6L3
–   Splits in the classes will be determined following entries.

U.S. Entries will be accepted provided the animal is registered in the Canadian Herd Book. This show
will follow Canadian Association show eligibility standards
