emerging artist.

In this series of video Introduction to Information Graphics, Karl using art, technology,
research and writing skills describes his own high school years and his love for art. He
profiles work preferences and information graphics as a career option. Art and design is
at the core of information graphics field. Examples of information graphics are provided.
The concept of teamwork is discussed as a quality of product improvement. The
information graphics field can be applied in graphics on the Internet, video, and print.

This presentation was developed in collaboration with Michigan State University - School
of Journalism in the College of Communications Arts and Sciences, Oakland Schools
Career Focused Education and the Michigan Department of Education Office of School

graphics, Karl will intro you the wide range of computer software tools needed in the industry.

You will become aware of products made by Adobe, Discreet Logic and many others that oddly
enough are not replacing the need to hand drawing but are become necessary additive tools of
the trade in the creation of print base imagery.

Information Graphics Case Study: Weapons of War - Part Vl

theater of operations before the attack into Afghanistan. This was the first war in a long time for
the USA and the number of new weapons being deployed was the purpose of the article.

In this case the Karl talk about using 3D software for the depiction of many of the systems used
in battle. Also there is a introduction the team of artist and writer who are working in parallel at a
breakneck pace to get the piece done in another 3 day deadline.
