Plant on hire to you from Mainline Tool & Plant Hire Ltd is your responsibility
and if stolen or damaged, you choose to underwrite losses that would normally
be insured and agree to pay invoices for same within 30 days of the invoice
date.

                  HAEHireGuard SUMMARY OF COVER FOR MAINLINE


     Property hired out under HAEHireGuard is covered for
      Loss or damage at any situation in the United Kingdom including whilst in Transit between
        such situations other than by Sea or Air
      A limit of Liability up to £50,000 any one occurrence, no single article limit
      Full replacement value for property less than 24 months old

        1 General Claims Procedures
       All claims involving burglary, theft and loss must be reported to the police immediately
       All claims must be reported to Mainline as soon as reasonably practicable, by telephone, fax or in
        writing supplying proof of claims as may reasonably be required
       In the case of property lost or damaged as a result of riot inform Mainline immediately and in all
        cases within seven days of the occurrence
       Preserve any damaged or defective property that might prove necessary as evidence for examination
        by the Company’s representatives

    Warranty – The Hirer must remove the battery from the plant and remove the battery from site.
    This warranty does not apply when equipment in overnight storage facility when occupied overnight

                                       PRINCIPAL EXCLUSIONS
    POLICY EXCESS
    Loss of equipment when hirer has failed to comply with warranty
    Continuing Hire Charges , Recovery costs
    Loss or damage whilst in a vehicle unless
     (a) all doors are locked and windows/openings are securely fastened whilst unattended
     (b) property is securely mounted or fixed to the vehicle or kept in a suitable container whilst in
     transit
    Loss or damage to attachments including tyres other than diamond cutting wheels
    Loss or damage due to
     (a) Failure to clean and conduct routine maintenance of the property
     (b) Breakdown or Wear and Tear
      (c) Treatment or foreign bodies
      (d) Wilful Act
    Loss or damage due to Fraud or Dishonesty of Employees
    Loss or damage in Northern Ireland resulting from riot or civil commotion
    Loss or damage of any mechanically propelled vehicle other than any such vehicle not more
     specifically insured and which is
      a) not licensed for road use and used in circumstances which do not require insurance or security
                                   under any Road Traffic Act legislation or
     b) designed or adapted primarily for use as a tool of trade

TIP will endeavour to respond to oral complaints immediately. Written complaints will be acknowledged, in writing,
within five days of receipt, advising who is dealing with the complaint and indicating when you may expect an answer.
If an oral complaint cannot be resolved immediately, and in the case of written complaints, TIP will send a written
response within 20 business days from receipt of the original complaint.

If the complaint cannot be resolved within this time scale, we will forward details of the progress made to
date and the likely time scale involved.

Zurich Insurance Company also operates a complaints procedure.

A Retail Customer or a Commercial Customer with a Turnover not exceeding £1m has access to
the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)

TIP are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to
compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business
and circumstances of the claim.

Insurance advising and arranging is covered for the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim without any
upper limit.

Further information about the compensation scheme is available from the FSCS.
