Bankruptcy Pre-Discharge Debtor Education Certificate North Texas bankruptcy filers residing in areas around McKinney, Frisco, Allen and Plano can attend the 2-hour Pre-Discharge Bankruptcy Debtor Education course in Plano on February 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Plano Chamber of Commerce event room at 1200 E. 15th Street. After going through the bankruptcy pre-filing counseling to determine what alternatives are available to them, debtors must decide on filing for bankruptcy and going through the courts, or pursue other options. If the decision is to file for bankruptcy; the EOUST requires a 2-hour debtor education course on budgeting and credit management. CCCS was among the first agencies in the country to be approved for counseling and education.* Participants must register to attend by calling 972-542-0257 ext. 322 or 305 before February 6th.
