Sample Reports SAMPLE VERBATIMS - Answers the question: “What are my customers actually writing?” Note that we include the URL link so you can drill down directly to the specific blog. iPod Examples: Being the gadget freak I am, I finally got me an Ipod. I got the 20 Gb Photo because I'm not really a sucker for pretty things but powerful things. The secret to making me drool is packing the maximum amount of power, features, and stability into as compact a space as possible. The Ipod is pretty impressive in these respects. It's not perfect, but it comes close and the sales numbers speak for themselves. Here's a review from a techie's point of view that you may or may not find useful if you're considering buying one. http://www.livejournal.com/users/chanchal/ Dislikes: The interface is too simple. You'd think there'd be a "desktop" like navigation system with snazzy icons and what not. So far the menu just looks like your standard windows start menu (minus the icons). You can't edit stuff straight on the ipod (obviously, since it doesn't a keyboard). The physical interface (click wheel + buttons) is not conducive to playing games. The music playing is limited to mp3 and a few other stupid formats and doesn't support the open format OGG which is getting popular these days. There are equalizers but there's no visual equalizer showing (this wouldn't be that hard to implement given the great graphics of the Ipod Photo). Also, the body scratches way too easily. So far, I've only kept it in a soft pouch/case originally provided by Panasonic for my brother's headphones. And it's still full of scratches, especially the metal part. That's really stupid. Why would you put a metal casing if it scratches that easily and gets so dirty from finger prints that easily? So Apple, work on a metal alloy casing that won't scratch or get dirty that easily. I was working as the iPods-only Genius and apparently everyone in the 5-county area who had an iPod had it malfunction on the same day. One iPod mini came in (figuratively speaking) because it wouldnt stay at a constant volume. Now, I figured it may have been the earbuds or the headphone jack or something, so I plugged it into one of the Bose headsets. When I started the thing playing, the volume was at minimum, so I tried turning it up (running my finger clockwise around the wheel). As soon as I stopped moving my finger, the volume gradually went back to zero. Like, the volume bar thing would just *downward whistling sound* right back to nil. If theres such a thing as a really neat malfunction, this was it. http://www.livejournal.com/users/rymo/ But secretly, oh I coveted those sexy little MP3 players with their iconic click-wheel interface, glossy casing, and rounded corners. Earlier this year I had an opportunity to play with Amberly's iPod Mini and boy, that really hooked me. But the one thing that kept stopping me just short of jumping on the bandwagon was iTunes. I had read/heard/seen just enough to know that iTunes would force me to relinquish control over my music and play the game the Apple way. With iTunes, I'd have to learn a new interface and accept that placing music on the iPod meant moving not copying files to and fro. Nope, there seemed to be too much baggage that I didn't want to deal with, so the iPod was just not for me. http://www.2dolphins.com/blogger.htm I know it's not a cameraphone, but I just had to break into song about my iPod Nano! This little sliver of nothing arrived in a huge lorry, a ridiculously large box and a nano-delivery time from the Apple Store of less than 24 hours. Rather an improvement on the Nokia N90 camera phone, which I ordered in May, and so far the only thing that has arrived is the price.http://phoneseye.blogspot.com Claude S.
