Heidi Boyd is a Nutrition Educator with the Dairy
Farmers of Canada (DFC). She has a Masters of
Health Science degree in Community Nutrition
from the University of Toronto and a degree in
Biochemistry and Nutrition from Memorial
University of Newfoundland. Prior to DFC, she
worked as a Public Health Dietitian on the school
team in Sudbury Ontario, and as a Clinical
Dietitian in central Newfoundland. Through these
varied experiences she was able to work with
many children and adults on their journey to
healthy living. Her course will emphasize the
important role that teachers and schools play in
helping children develop life-long healthy living
practices.
