Composing a successful Ground
Listen to examples of Music that uses a
Either compose your own ground bass
using the Matrix Bass sequencer.
Or use a Dr. Rex file which has a
repetitive ground bass.
Or sample a bass line from a song you
like and import it into the NN-19 sampler,
then record it into the Reason sequencer.

Subtractor Synth add a repetitive chord
sequence which fits over the Ground Bass.
Compose one or more melodies using the
Subtractor Synth to make more layers
over the Ground Bass
Add effects and tweak reverb, panning,
and volume settings etc. in the mixer to
give your piece a finished feel.
