Course Name: VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment
Standards

Introduction:
This is a pre-requisite to most VTCT qualifications - completing this diploma before working
on clients is considered good practice, as the knowledge needed for these units underpins all
skill areas. The course can be completed at the same time as technical courses or prior to
and it enables you to understand the importance of implementing and maintaining high
standards of health, safety and security in the workplace.

Delivery:
1 day plus assignments and assessments

Objectives:
       To carry out a risk assessment to identify and deal with potential hazards.
       To develop knowledge and understanding of employment standards.
       To promote professionalism and ethics taking in to account equality for customers
        and colleagues, community involvement, supporting protection from emotional and
        physical abuse

Introduction:
To enable candidates to be proficient and knowledgeable in a range of products for different
make-up effects. Lash and brow treatments also enable the therapist to enhance the service

Introduction:
All facials incorporate a cleanse and tone, followed by aromatic cool steaming, application of
an extensive facial, neck and shoulder massage is also included to ensure all areas of tension
and fatigue are addressed. Resulting in accumulated toxins being dispersed thus clearing a
sluggish skin. The techniques are modified to address the client’s individual needs according
to skin type, the application of a mask and protective treatment creams conclude.

Introduction:
This course is suitable for a senior therapist and offers a comprehensive range of advanced
therapies. It is recommended that the course is completed after achieving level 2
qualifications. It allows you to offer advanced facials and body programmes (electrical and
mechanical treatments) that are used to enhance and stabilise arrange of conditions together
with the necessary corrective exercise and dietary advice. Body massage is also an integral
part of the course.

Introduction:
Electrical epilation is a medically approved method of permanent hair removal. It is a skill that
requires time to master. (However if you are prepared to reach a little way beyond the
psychological barrier and join those of us who are able to beat nature and see your client’s
confidence blossom). This is one treatment that CAN and DOES make a difference. Our
Academy is able to offer you the advantage of one to one tuition for the theoretical and
practical application of electrolysis in a personalised programme of training under the
professional guidance of Cheryl Cole.
