Resource Underwriting Pacific Pty Ltd is the Australian subsidiary of Talisman Managing Agents P/L, the managing agent of Lloyds Syndicate 839. It writes, in Australia, Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers insurance for 839 and other Lloyds syndicates, namely 2623, 623, 510 & 570 .for a total premium income in the current year of approximately A$35 million. All of this is written under Claims Made Policies. The Syndicates concerned would not write this type of insurance under Occurrence Policies, nor, so far as I am aware, would any other Lloyds syndicate or experienced liability insurer.
