Aims to represent, promote and advance psychology within the context of improving community wellbeing and scientific knowledge.

• The APS has over 14 000 members • Around 60% of all registered psychologists in Australia are members of the APS • Student Subscribers represent 12% of the total membership • Membership - 73% Female, 27% Male
APS Units
APS Units cater for members based on their:
Geographical location: 31 Branches and 7 Regional Groups, eg Albury-Wodonga
Specialist Training: 9 APS Colleges, eg College of Community Psychologists Particular areas of interest: 22 Interest Groups, eg Psychology and Substance Use
2 Divisions – Research and Teaching, Independent Practice
