Artemis has spent the last two years searching for his father. Artemis Senior was aboard
a ship that sunk in the Arctic. Although it is generally believed that everyone aboard has
died, Artemis will not believe it. He has spent a lot of the fairy money on finding his
father. Meanwhile, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon fairy police is not having such a
good time herself. Because of the incident with Artemis in which the fairy gold was lost,
she has been reduced to patrol. During a routine patrol, Holly stumbles on a cache of
illegal weapons in the hand of goblins. Now, there is nothing stupider than a goblin so
they must have had help getting the softnose lasers. They also have some Mud Man
firesuits that keep them from being detected by standard scanning. There is just no way
the B'wa Kell could have done this without Mud Man help. And what Mud Man would
help goblins? There is only one name that comes to mind -- Artemis Fowl! Could it be?
Would he be so bold as to team up with goblins? Or is someone else in charge of this
operation? Just maybe this time Holly and Artemis will find themselves on the same
side. Could that ever happen? RL 7.1

It's been twenty years since Queen Thirrin Lindenshield defeated General Bellorum and
saved the tiny country of the Icemark. But changes are coming.

Charlemagne, the youngest of Thirrin and Oskan's five children, is growing increasingly
angry and resentful that he can't train to be a warrior, because of the polio that crippled
him when he was only four.

Ende, Michael The Neverending Story
Bastian Balthazar Bux isn't very good at defending himself against bullies. In fact, he
isn't very good at much of anything. So, when the bullies from school come after him
one morning all he can do is run. Maybe it's luck that he chooses to hide in the bookstore
on the corner or maybe it's something more. Whatever it might have been, his unplanned
detour starts him on adventure unlike any he could have ever imagined. Before he can
even think about it he takes the book from the old man's chair and races to school with it.
Once there, he locks himself in the attic and begins to read. At first it seems like any
other tale of fantasy, but as he continues to read Bastian finds himself being pulled
further and further into the pages until he suddenly discovers that he has been a part of
the Neverending Story from the very beginning. And that's when Bastian's real
adventures begin. RL 6.9

A great fantasy weaving the adventures of young man with the first dragon to be born in
over a century. Eragon was the first of the Dragon Riders. It was an honor for me to
bear his name. Even though the Dragon Riders were no more. Galbatirox had seen
to that. Even though it had cost him his great black dragon. Along with all the
other Riders' dragons. Now he rules as King of Alagaesia by cruelty and sorcery.
