       Public web-site description

The official AQUASTRESS project public web site was launched on April and it
is available at the following address: [http://www.aquastress.net].
The web site objective is the continuous public dissemination, dialogue and
communication (reaching an ample range of stakeholders and societal interest groups) on
water stress thematic areas and project overall activities and results. It is aimed at
developing a comprehensive Internet based dissemination and dialogue among project
partners and, more important, between the project and external stakeholders and visitors.
The external web site was constructed in order to be user-friendly and easy to
consult, and it is monthly updated.

The web site is organized in two main sections: the project section (PS) and the water
stress information and knowledge section (WIKS).
The project section (PS) was built for the dissemination of the project and it describes
project overall objectives, activities, results, events and partnership. Particularly:

   - Project’s general information on project background, partners involved and their
brief description, objectives and structures, with a brief Work -blocks’ description
       and main features of test sites;

   - Review of research activities (that will be implemented during the project, with
       their description and their results

   - Project events scheduled during the project: training, summer school, seminars and
workshops with relevant documents of past events

It was foreseen also a section for a forum open to project partners, a wide space for
project’s news, advance information or general briefing and a list of useful contacts.
