Implementing the Project. As shown in the planning and review documents there was a variety of resources and equipment used. We used interactive whiteboards for demonstrations, pc’s and laptops for the children to work on, digital video cameras, digital cameras, paint, paper, pencils and anything else we could get our hands on! We worked all over the school creating our videos and photography, displaying posters and flyers creating an amazing ‘buzz’ in the school, particularly as only the two classes involved knew about what they were doing which made them feel very very special!

Assessment and Standards
The Primary aim of the project was to provide a positive learning experience for low ability/ disaffected children with severe Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. ICT was an integral part of the project but not the focus itself. The M-Factor project involved so many different elements all or part of it could be used in any classroom. All of the project objectives were met and reflected in the evidence and teacher assessment. Further information was gathered from the other professionals involved and the children as part of Masters Degree dissertation research into the effectiveness of the project. The findings were that music and ICT skills and knowledge, motivation, independent and co-operative work skills, social skills and self-esteem were all supported, nurtured and improved by the project. This had a very positive impact on the children feeling part of a team, on behaviour which were all long term
