Two members of staff spend part of their time managing the website alongside other responsibilities. They are the Business Management and Communication Team Manager and the Team Leader: Communications Team. I have included the sections of their job descriptions which relate to the website. Business Management and Communication Manager Co-ordinate and monitor HMIE internal and external communications: Oversee the content of HMIE’s website and intranet - take forward enhancements to HMIE’s web-site to ensure all content is readily accessible by different stakeholder groups and that it is written to Plain English standards. Team Leader: Communications Team Oversee and manage the publication and distribution of reports, publications, leaflets and similar: Quality assure the timely publication of inspection reports/reviews on the HMIE website, and the accurate uploading of press releases. Quality assure the publication and distribution of publications published in paper form and/or on the HMIE website, and the compilation and distribution of supplementary press releases. Ensure all ‘badging’ is accurate and regular checks are made to ensure they are up-to- date. Ensure good practice is quality assured and uploaded within deadlines set.
