Extension Request Template
Below is a sample letter which demonstrates how to request an extension to National Fish and Wildlife Foundation projects. Please note the following: The Foundation's regional office addresses can be found on the Foundation's website; please refer to your contract for the office at which your Project Administrator is located. If you are not up-to-date with your phase or annual reports, please submit them with your request. If your requested end date is greater than twelve months past your original end date, please contact your Project Administrator prior to submitting your request. If you are proposing any substantive changes in the activities or deliverables of your project, please contact your Project Administrator prior to submitting your request. Due to the nature of some Foundation funds, not all requests for extensions can be approved.
Please contact your Project Administrator with any questions.
