                                  Sign Regulations – Austin


Details are listed below on how to find one particular section of the Sign Regulations, para-
graph 25-10-128, of the City of Austin Code of Ordinances. Similar steps can be followed to
obtain any particular pages of the city’s Sign Regulations in the Land Development Code.

1. The section of the City Code which contains Sign Regulations is: Volume II,
   Title 25. Land Development

   Chapter 25-10. Sign Regulations
     Article 7. Regulations Applicable to Certain Sign Districts.
        25-10-128 Neighborhood Commercial Sign District Regulations

2. Log on to the Am. Legal Corp. web link at www.amlegal.com/austin_tx
   (There is an underline between austin and tx.)

3. In the search box on the upper left side of the main menu screen, type in a number for a
   section of the Land Development Code (e.g., type in 25-10), then click “Search.”

4. On the next screen, double click on “Title 25. Land Development”

5. A list of chapters will appear on the screen. Click on “25-10. Sign Regulations.”

6. On the next screen, a list of articles and paragraphs for Chapter 25-10 begins. Scroll down
   this list until you get to paragraph 25-10-128, which is under Article 7.

7. Double click on “25-10-128.”

8. The appropriate paragraph should appear. To get a printed copy of 25-10-128 in its
   entirety, click print, and enter pages 26-27 in the box of pages to print. [There are 43 pages
   total in this chapter of the Land Development Code. I found the correct pages for 25-10-
   128 by trial and error.]
