This course is designed to perform the following outcomes: a) To teach the student the procedures of conducting an agricultural feasability studies for agricultural projects. b) To apply the criteria of selection among inestement alternatives. c) To study the different between commerical and economic feasabilitity stuies. 2 – Intended Learning Outcomes of Course (ILOs) a- Knowledge and Understanding: a1- to understand concepts of agricultural feasibility studies. a2- to know the definitions of feasibility studies and its branches a3- to introduce the main concepts of commercial and national profitability. b- Intellectual Skills b1- To develop the cost benefit analysis skills. b2- To improve the ability of project evaluation of agricultural projects. b3- To train the students on the creative thinking in agricultural project evaluation. c- Professional and Practical Skills c1- To apply simple project evaluation techniques to select among investment alternatives and the constraints on the selection process. c2- To adapt the project evaluation concepts to the agricultural project issues taking in account the different constraints. c3-To apply principles of agricultural feasibility studies branches to actual problems.
