In addition, as per the stipulations of the above-mentioned bylaw, a brief biography of each candidate appears under his/her name. FOR THE OFFICE OF JCI PRESIDENT: 1. Kevin CULLINANE (JCI Ireland): Born in Hemel Hempstead, England, April 12, 1966. Citizen of Ireland. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and is International Marketing Manager at Heineken Ireland in Cork, where he is responsible for the domestic and export sales of Murphy’s Irish Stout and Murphy’s Irish Red Beer. He resides in Cork, Ireland. Joined JCI Dun Laoghaire in 1989. Highest local office: President (1992). Highest state or regional office: Regional Director (1995). Highest national office: President (1997). Service at the international level: JCI Europe Secretary/Treasurer (1999); Parliamentarian to the JCI European Area Conferences in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003; JCI Vice President assigned to Canada and the United States (2001); JCI Executive Vice President assigned to Europe and Chairman of the 2002 Area D (Europe) Conference (2002); JCI General Legal Counsel (2003), and Chief Executive Assistant to the World President (2004). He holds a master's degree in management, an advanced degree in business administration, and a diploma in marketing. He is the Director of Promotion and Economic Studies at the Bizerte Free Zone in Tunisia. He resides in Bizerte, Tunisia, with his wife Sonia. Joined JCI Bizerte in 1993. She currently consults and trains her customers in the field of change management taking responsibility for the entire process. She resides in Uhingen, Germany, with her husband Bert. He is a lawyer and an accountant with expertise in taxes, contracts, labor relations and commercial agreements. He resides in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He joined JCI Japao in 1992. He is the President of Sumihei Corporation, a trading company dealing with construction materials. He resides in Nagano, Japan, with his wife Hiromi and two children. He joined JCI Nagano in 1992. FOR THE OFFICE OF JCI VICE PRESIDENT: 1. Landry AHLONSOU (JCI Benin) Born July 2, 1969, in Cotonou, Benin. Citizen of Benin. He holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications. He is a Project Director for Alcatel, a multinational telecommunications company. He resides in Les Page 2 Ulis, France, with his wife Josiane and their daughter. He Joined JCI African-Paris in 1999. Ilze AUGSTKALNE (JCI Latvia) Born February 16, 1977, in Gulbene, Republic of Latvia. Citizen of Latvia. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, and is currently studying Law. She is a Marketing Manager for TD Baltic, a leading provider of IT products, logistics management and other value-added services in the Baltic States. She resides in Riga, Latvia. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she works as financial controller for Polaris Sales Australia and New Zealand. She resides in Ballarat, Australia, with her husband David and their son. Citizen of Colombia. Holds a degree in Dentistry and specializes in oral surgery. He has his own dentistry clinic, PREVDENT. He resides in Bogotá, Colombia, with his wife Lizby Casas Forero and their daughter. Joined JCI Cartago in 1991. Highest local office: President (1996). Citizen of the Dominican Republic. He holds a degree in law and a diploma in insurance legislation and civil responsibility. He is a partner in a law firm that handles private and business insurances. He resides in Santiago, Dominican Republic, with his wife Marilyn Tactuk de Espinal and their two children. Alexander ESBER (JCI Venezuela) Born August 22, 1970, in Acarigua, Venezuela. Citizen of Venezuela. He holds a degree in Information Technology and Agronomy. He owns a company, SERVIAGRO, which provides agroindustrial services and advice, and is a partner and advisor for IDMEA, a manufacturing factory of office, school and home furniture. Elroy HUGHES (JCI Dutch Caribbean) Born September 14, 1969, in Anquilla, Dutch Caribbean. Dutch Citizen. He holds a degree in general management and is currently working as a technical controller/ assistant supervisor. He resides in St. Maarten with his wife Karen and their two daughters. Languages spoken: English, Dutch and Spanish. 10. Alice KAM ( JCI Malaysia) Born July 25, 1965, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Citizen of Malaysia. She has received several cosmetology diplomas (from Cidesco International, CIBTAC, and I.T.E.C.) and is currently Executive Director of Elegant de Beauty, a beauty salon. Citizen of Côte D’Ivoire. He has a diploma in business and is currently Director of Training and Pedagogy. He resides in Aboisso, Côte D’Ivoire, with his wife Yolande Esther and their four children. He holds a degree in Information Technology, a Bachelor's in System Analysis, a proficiency certificate in the English Language and a Master's in Business Administration. He is the founder and managing partner of Promacon, Page 4 Enterprise Management Solutions. He is also the Special Advisor of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, Secretariat for Youth.
