Quick Start Guide:
Managing Templates
Administrators can create new templates for blogs and wikis to be used by users when they create new sites within their Expo LX spaces.
Navigation: Role:
Administrator 1. Click the System Admin tab. 2. Click the Manage Expo LX link. 3. Click the Manage Templates link.

Steps:
Adding a Template 1. On the Manage Templates page, click the Add button. 2. On the Add Template page, enter the template name in the Name field. 3. Select the Type option as either a blog or wiki site. 4. Enter a description of the template in the Description text box. 5. If the template is ready to be used, click the Available checkbox. 6. Click the OK button. Formatting a Template 1. On the Manage Templates page, click the newly added template link. 2. If the template is for a wiki, click the Edit link. 3. If the template is for a blog, click the new entry link. 4. Enter the wiki or blog name in the Page Name field. 5. Enter information into the text box. 6. If you copied text from a Microsoft Word document: a. Click and press the ctrl+v on your keyboard to paste in the text from the Paste from Word window. b. Select the Insert button to insert the content into the blog. 7. If you copied text from another type of document, click (ctrl+v) to paste in the text. 8. Insert hyperlinks, graphics, tables, etc. as appropriate. 9. Click the Save button. For more information about formatting a template, see the Understanding the Text Editor Quick Start Guide. Note: Changes made to a template will only impact new blogs and wikis that are created using the modified template. Blogs and wikis created before the changes were made to the template will not be affected.
