1) Talk Button & Headset Bluetooth indicator light       - To accept/end call; A blue color or a red color LED

Introduction
This Bluetooth headset is an ultra lightweight wireless system deploying the Bluetooth wireless
technology. The headset contains a microphone and a speaker; it’s a hand-free communication device with
the mobile phones have the "Bluetooth Headset Enabled Profile" feature. The power is provided by an
integral built-in rechargeable battery.

Any mobile phone that you want to use with this Bluetooth headset must support the Bluetooth
technology version 1.1 specification and the "Bluetooth Headset Enabled Profile" features. To find out if the
headset can work with your mobile phone, please check your mobile phone model with the mobile phone
dealers near you. Before you use the headset, please make sure that:
1. Fully charge the battery of headset over night (about 2.5 ~ 3 hours) for using at the first time;
2. Pair the headset with your mobile phone that has the "Bluetooth Headset Enabled Profile" feature;

Choose right or left ear wearing
This headset can be worn on either ear by adjust the ear hook. The ear hook can plug into either socket side
of the headset. Please follow the following pictures with the arrow directions to insert the ear hook. Please do
not insert the ear hook into the socket vertically!




Adjust the ear hook to fit with for your ear
The ear hook can be adjusted to fit with the size of ear. Please bend the ear hook to adjust the curve to fit
with your ear. Please gently bend the ear hook, otherwise you may damage the ear hook.

Prepare to use your Bluetooth headset
1. Charging battery time
If you use the headset at the first time, please fully charge the built-in rechargeable battery of headset.
Note: When the headset is under the charging mode, it stays with the “OFF” mode. If you want to use the
headset after the charging mode, you need to turn the headset into the "ON" mode.
  A. Connect the power adapter into an electrical outlet;
  B. Plug the adapter connector into either side of socket port;
  C. While charging the battery, the blue color LED indicator light will stay solid on. When the battery is fully
     charged, the blue color LED indicator light will be off. Then, you can unplug the adapter connector from
     the headset and disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet.
  D. Charging time is about 2.5 ~ 3 hours.




 Please refer to the arrow directions to insert the adapter connector into either side of socket port. Please do
 not insert the adapter connector into the socket port vertically!

Note: Both sides of socket ports can be plugged with the ear hook and can also be plugged with the adapter
connector for charging the battery. You can use the other socket port for charging the battery, while the other
socket port is being used for the ear hook.

2. Pairing (Linking) the headset to the mobile phone
When you use the headset at the first time, you have to pair the headset to the mobile phone that has the
"Bluetooth Headset Enabled Profile" feature. The Bluetooth connection between the headset and your
mobile phone can be established by setting up a paired link. With a paired link, the mobile phone can store
and process the headset ID for connecting.

3. Pairing the headset to the mobile phone
Before you can pair your headset the mobile phone, you need to set the headset into the pairing mode.
Note: Pairing procedures must be done every time while the headset establishes a link with a different
mobile phone that has the "Bluetooth Headset Enable Profile" feature. The pairing mode only can be
entered from the power "OFF" model of headset. During the pairing procedures, we recommend that the
distance between the headset and the mobile phone can be as close as possible, and without having any
solid object in between.

To proceed pairing the headset with the mobile phone that has the "Bluetooth Headset Enable Profile"
feature, please follow the following steps:
A. Check the user manual of mobile phone, and then find out the locations of Bluetooth device discovery.
B. Make sure the headset is turned off.
C. Press and hold the Talk button for about 3 seconds simultaneously, then a blue color LED light is
    blinking for 5 times, keep pressing and holding the Talk button till a blue color LED light and a red color
    LED light are cross blinking simultaneously. It means the headset is in the pairing mode.
D. Perform a Bluetooth device discovery from the mobile phone. It may take several seconds to establish
    the connections.
E. The mobile phone will display a Bluetooth device name "EPoX-HS01" once the mobile phone has
    found the headset, and ask you to confirm and add the headset device into the mobile phone. The
    mobile phone tries to pair with the headset. Please confirm and select OK.
F. The mobile phone will prompt a display screen for asking you to enter the password, please enter 1234,
    then the mobile phone will start to pair with the headset.
G. The mobile phone display screen will advise you once the pairing procedures have been complete
    successfully. And, a blue color LED light indicator on the headset will be blinking once every 3 seconds if
    the pairing procedures have been established.

If the pairing procedures fail, a blue color LED light and red color LED light will keep cross blinking for about
60 seconds, then a blue color LED light and red color LED light will stop. A re-pairing procedure is needed.
Please repeat the pairing procedures from A. to G.

Note: Your mobile phone display screen may display a Bluetooth icon        , once the headset and mobile
phone have been paired successfully. Then, you are able to use the headset.

Turning your headset ON and OFF
To turn the headset on, press and hold Talk button for about 3 seconds simultaneously, a blue color LED

light will blinking for 5 times, then release the Talk button. A blue color LED light will blinking once every 3
seconds. This is a standby mode, which means the headset is ready for answering the incoming calls.
To turn the headset off, press and hold Talk button for 3 seconds simultaneously till a red color LED light is
blinking for 5 times, then release the Talk button.

Making a call with the headset
If your mobile phone supports the feature of voice dialing, you can use this feature with the headset. Please
refer to your mobile phone user manual for more details in regard to the feature of voice control.
Note: Please make sure that the headset and the mobile phone are under the link stage. For examples,
Sony Ericsson and Nokia mobile phones, the         and       symbols mean the "link" status. For Nokia mobile
phones, it is necessary to press the Talk button one time to make the      symbols on the mobile phone when
the headset is out of 10 meters, power off or after charging.

Making a call from the mobile phone
1. Place the headset on your ear.
2. Using the mobile phone keypad, dial the phone number.
3. To send the call, press SEND/CALL key on the mobile phone to initiate the all.
4. The call will transfer automatically to the headset once the connection is made.
Note: When make calls from the Siemens S55 model, please press the Talk button on the headset.

Making a call using voice dialing
1. The feature of voice dialing on your mobile phone must be turned "ON" and the voice tags stored.
2. Place the headset on your ear.
3. Press the Talk button on the headset.
4. A short tone will prompt you, and you can speak the voice “tag” name as entered into the mobile phone
   voice dialing phone book.
5. The mobile phone dials your selection automatically, and you can see the details of the calls on the
   mobile phone display screen.
6. When the call is connected, you are free to communicate normally via the headset.
Note: Please refer to the mobile phone user manual for storing voice tags.

Ending a call from the headset
To end a call, press the Talk button one time. Or, you can end the call from the mobile phone keypad. Or,
when the other party hangs up the phone, the call ends automatically.

Receiving/Answering a call
If there is an incoming call while you are wearing the headset, a ring tone will alert you for answering the
incoming call. Press the Talk button one time to answer the call.

If your mobile phone supports the feature of auto answering a call, the headset will take the incoming call
and you don't need to press any button.

Note: The older versions of Sony Ericsson P800 mobile phones cannot hear the ring tone from the headset.
Please press the Talk button on the headset to answer the call.

Transferring a call
To transfer a call from the mobile phone to the headset, press the Talk button on the headset. To transfer a
call from the headset to the mobile phone, turn the headset off.
Note: This feature may vary in accordance with different mobile phone models.

Speaker volume and volume control button
The volume of speaker can be adjusted by pressing the volume up or down button. You can adjust the
volume up to 15 pre-set levels. Volume up and volume down button will regulate the volume of the speaker
in these 15 steps. One step per key press increases / decreases the desired volume till a satisfactory level is
reached. An audible tone is played for each step +/- and when either the minimum or maximum volume has
been achieved.

Low battery warning
The headset needs re-charging when a red color LED light indicator is blinking once every about 3 seconds.
You also can hear a special tone of DO-LU-DO-LU-DO from the headset every about 40 sec. When you use
the headset during the low battery situation, a red LED light indicator on the headset that will blink 4 times

every about 3 seconds. Once the low battery warning indicator starts, you have around 10 minutes of talk
time left. You need to recharge the battery of headset.

Note: Talk time and standby time depend on the battery age and condition and charging practices of headset and
the mobile phone.

Storage of headset
1. Always store the headset and audio gateway safety protected.
2. Avoid storing the headset at high temperatures (above 60° C/134° F). Such as in a hot vehicle or directly
   to sunlight. (Store the headset at high temperatures can degrade performance and reduce the battery
   life.)
3. Do not expose the headset and audio gateway or any of its supplied parts to rain or other liquids.

Certification and safety approvals/general information
This product is CE, FCC, BQB marked. Please note that this product uses radio frequency bands not
harmonized within EU. Within the EU, this product is intended to be used in Austria, Belgium, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden,
United Kingdom and within EFTA in Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.

Users are not permitted to make changes or modify the device in any way.

Warranty and parts replacement

Battery: This headset is equipped with a lithium polymer rechargeable battery. Replacement or service must
be done at a qualified service center or returned to the manufacturer.
Use only the supplied battery.
Use only the supplied and approved AC charger.
We warrant this product against all defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the
date of original purchase. The conditions of this warranty and our responsibilities under this warranty are as
follows:

* The warranty is limited to the original purchaser.

* A copy of your invoice or other proof of purchase is required. Without the proof of purchase, your warranty
is defined as beginning on the date of manufacture as labeled on the products.

* The warranty is void if the serial number, date code label or product label is removed, or if the product has
been subject to physical abuse, improper installation, modification, or repair by unauthorized third parties.

* The responsibility of our products shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product at its sole
discretion.

* Any implied warranty on our products is limited to one year from the date of purchase on all parts, including
any cords and connectors.

* Specifically exempt from any warranty are limited-life consumable components subject to normal wear and
tear, such as microphone, decorative finishes, batteries, and other accessories.

* This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights which vary from area to area.

* Unless otherwise instructed in the user guide, the user may not, under any circumstances, attempt to
perform service, adjustments or repairs on this unit, whether in or out of warranty. It must be returned to the
purchase point, factory or authorized service agency for all such work.

* We will not assume any responsibility for any loss or damage incurred in shipping. Any repair work on our
products by unauthorized third parties voids any warranty.
