Homecoming Football Game East vs. Hononegah

Location: Swanson Stadium (Guilford High School 5620 Spring Creek Rd)
Cost: $4/adult at the gate. *Even though tickets are sold at the gate, it is important that we have an accurate

Get back in the spirit of things by attending the East High School Homecoming Football game against Hononegah.
Watch the float competition, see the ‟08 Homecoming Court, listen to the marching band perform “Three Cheers for
Rockford High School” and walk out onto the 50 yard line at half-time to represent the Class of ‟88. Show all of those
young kids that after 20 years, the Class of ‟88 can still kick their ass at El Vivo!

Take the opportunity to meet up with smaller groups of close friends before or after the game. See the attached contact
list for suggested locations. If anyone would like to post additional places or host a small get together or open house at

Meet your best friends for breakfast before our Reunion Tour. See information about The Stockholm Inn, Aunt
Mary‟s, Der Rathskeller and other Rockford favorites on the attached contact sheet. Reservations suggested.

Reunion Tour of East High School

Meet in the faculty parking lot & enter through the “ERAB PRIDE Means Never Giving Up” ramp. The tour will
begin in the gymnasium with a short welcome and introduction followed by an All-Class Photo on the bleachers. Any
faculty attending will be acknowledged at this time, and the current administration will open the floor to any questions.
Then in smaller groups, everyone will have an opportunity to walk the halls of East High again to see any changes (or
lack thereof). We will end in the cafeteria with some light refreshments and items for sale by the Booster Club. After
the tour, everyone will have time to enjoy the afternoon with family, friends and classmates. See the attached contact
list for more suggested activities within the Rockford area (including Hazem Diab‟s Golf Tournament).

Dinner Party at Giovanni’s

Trying to catch up on 20 years is almost impossible in one night, but to make it easier we are hosting dinner in stations
(Asian, Italian, Mexican, Snacks and Dessert) so that you can mix and mingle all night and are not seated at one table
just waiting to catch up with your friends across the room. There will be a DJ with dancing, so feel fee to make any
special requests and dedications. We will honor those classmates and faculty that have left us too soon, and celebrate
the fact they will always be remembered. For our High School Sweethearts (still together) we will have a special
Homecoming anniversary dance. The ticket cost includes 2 complimentary drinks per person, but a cash bar will be
open throughout the evening. Anyone still wanting more fun after midnight can venture over to Big Al‟s Bar or a
variety of local clubs on their own.

Farewell Brunch
Date: Sunday, October 5th Time: 10:00AM

Thunder Bay Grille is conveniently located to most hotels on East State St. and offers a semi-private area for our
Farewell Brunch. Take this last opportunity to get together and reminisce about the previous evening‟s events.
