President Barack Obama will address the
nation’s school children at 11:00 a.m. about
the importance of persisting and
succeeding in school. Since our Channel 1
is not up and running; students/teachers can
listen to his speech on line. Remember, if a
student chooses not listen to the speech (he
or she) can opt out and the student can go
to the library and work on his/her class work.
OPEN HOUSE: We will have our Annual Open
House on Sept. 14 at 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Everyone is required to attend. I want to
praise the teachers who have decorated
the hallways with student work. Please
continue to display the students’ work inside
and outside of the classroom throughout the
year. We will place the student/parent sign
in sheets in your box on Thurs. The student’s
fourth period teacher will need to keep the
sign-in sheets to see which students
attended. The students who attended will
receive a long lunch on October 14.
