On behalf of the 2008 Auction Committee, we thank you for
being here this evening to help celebrate and support the
outstanding music programs at Harbour Pointe Middle School.
The 11th Annual Music Boosters Auction is the result of many
volunteer hours committed to enriching the music experience
our children enjoy at Harbour Pointe Middle School. Many
thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and talents.
This year, we are very fortunate to have the support of Corporate

as, everyone who donated goods and services. We are also
grateful for the support of the staff, teachers, parents and the
community-at-large.

SILENT AUCTION RULES
1. There are two silent auctions, BURGUNDY and WHITE. Please check the program for
closing times. There will be ample notice before the closing so you will have time to
check your bids.
2. All items in the Silent Auction have bid sheets affixed. To make a bid for the item,
legibly write your paddle number next to the amount of your bid.
3. You may return and re-bid on an item at any time you wish until the auction closes.
Bidders must step back after making an entry to allow free access to others.
4. No bid may be made after announced closing of that silent auction section.
5. A guaranteed bid amount is on each bid sheet. The first person to bid that amount
automatically purchases the item, and no other bids are allowed.
6. Values appearing on the bid sheets have been set by the donor.
LIVE AUCTION RULES
1. To make a bid, hold your numbered paddle up so it is visible to the spotters and
auctioneer.
2. Values appearing in the catalog have been set by the donor.
3. The auctioneer’s decisions are final.
4. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Your signature is the legal contract
to buy.
5. Payment must be made in full by cash, check or bankcard. Only Visa and MasterCard
will be accepted.
6. Please remove all items from the building this evening. You will be give receipts or
certificates for some items that must be presented to the respective business to receive
your goods or services.
We have endeavored to catalog and describe the items correctly but all items are sold “as
is” and Harbour Pointe Music Boosters neither warrants nor represents and shall in no
event be responsible for the correctness of description, genuineness, authorship,

Raise Your Paddle For Kids!
Here’s an opportunity to “Raise Your Paddle” for a good cause. As most of you know, our 7th
and 8th grade Marching Band is heading to Southern California this spring to compete in the
“Music in the Parks Festival” and march down Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland. Due to a
number of reasons, we have a greater number of students requesting financial assistance. If you
have a little more left to give, we would like to invite you to “Raise Your Paddle.” 100% of what
we raise during “Raise Your Paddle” will go directly to the Disneyland Trip Scholarship Fund.
