Weight loss supplements take many forms in that some are purported to increase your body’s metabolism to
increase the burning of calories. Others are supposed to ‘burn fat’ in order to reduce extra weight that might
                                                 come from overeating.

                                                        Creatine Supplement Guide
                                                               By Russell Davies

Creatine is found naturally in red meat, so creatine is natural. Creatine is useful for the bodybuilder
or infact for anyone looking to put on muscle or increase strength, as it increases the short energy
bursts of power needed to lift weights. It assists with muscle building as it aids recovery between sets
by replenishing ATP stores (muscle energy) quicker. This results in a greater overloading of the muscle
and results in better gains, meaning you can train more intensively and productively when taking
creatine.

Many users of standard creatine (creatine monohydrate) reported stomach cramps and/or bloating.
This was due to poor absorption of creatine in to the muscles and the creatine product would end up
just lining the stomach drawing water into it - leading to the bloating.

However several "next generation" creatine supplements are available on the market now including
Kre Aklyn, CEE, Di Creatine Malate, and micronised. All of these contain creatine but have been
designed to increase creatine absorption, get more creatine to the bodys muscle and reduce bloating;
resulting in a need to take in less creatine, this makes creatine supplementation more convenient to
take in capsule or tablet form.

Many Supplement manafacturers have combined next generation creatine supplements with other
nutritional supplements such as l-glutamine, caffeine, nitric oxide (arginine), taurine or whey protein.
Although more costly it is more convenient for the consumer and can assist with better results. These
supplements are availble in tablet form or a powdered drink mix. Dependant on your precise goals
choose; Glutamine & Creatine for better post workout recovery (BSN CellMass, Xyience NOX-CG3) for
increase strength choose taurine and creatine (SAN V12 Turbo)for better recovery between sets and
muscle pumps choose nitric oxide and creatine (Controlled Labs White Blood, BSN Nitrix) or for
increased energy and drive choose caffeine and creatine (BSN NO-Xplode)

Sports Supplement – what is it?

We are all aware of what is a nutrition or diet supplement, but what is a sports supplement? A sport
supplement is a subcategory of nutrition supplements. The sports supplement is associated with rising
sport results, intensifying training, lowering the consequences like muscle pane, etc. Many athletes use
some type of sports supplement or supplements, but if you are an athlete you need to be careful as
some of the chemicals used in production of supplements or some of the supplements themselves can
be on the banned substance list.

Sports Supplement – caffeine.

Caffeine is an example of a sports supplement. Athletes have used caffeine for a long time as it helps
them to stay alert and improve endurance. A good thing about caffeine is that there was a lot of
research done about it. According to many sport researchers, caffeine supplements claim that caffeine
improves athletic performance, increases energy, delays fatigue, improves fat burning, and enhances
body fat loss.

Sports Supplement – protein.

Protein is another example of a sports supplement. According to many athletes, high protein diets help
to increase muscle mass and gain strength. Unfortunately there is no scientific proof of that nowadays.
Protein supplements claim that protein supports muscle growth, increases muscle strength and mass,
improves recovery, etc. Again, no research is available to prove these claims.

Sports Supplement – creatine.

Creatine is yet another example of a sports supplement. According to many sport researchers, creatine
supplements seem to enable muscles to work harder before becoming fatigued. Creatine supplements
claim that creatine improves high power performance of short duration, increases muscle mass, delays
fatigue. If you are an athlete, you need to be careful about using creatine sports supplements as there
is very little research regarding safety of creatine.
