Conference Program
Canadian Natural Gas Industry
“May you live in interesting times.” In developing the theme for the Joint Conference we try to address the major issues of the time. Last years conference, “The Environmental Solution”
answered questions about the new carbon tax, Alberta regulations, environmental policy, and offered some technical solutions as well as examples of CCS success stories. In 2008 the single
biggest issue facing most GPA Canada and PJVA members is the uncertain future. World economic recession, financial institutions collapsing, markets in a free fall. While no one knows what the
future holds, we’ve brought together experts in the different areas that directly affect our industry. Timely analysis of the November US elections, combined with the Canadian results, and what
it means for the future of our business. In addition, Ziff will present their production and reserves analysis, TCPL will review their plans for the next decade, and Purvin & Gertz will update us on
the straddle plant inquiry. And if some of it makes you frown, we’ve got Jebb Fink to make you smile! We look forward to seeing you there.
