Catering Policy / Contract
Due to the nature of our business and the demand for our service
we strongly recommend that all interested clients reserve the date of
your event. A $50 (nonrefundable) deposit is required to reserve the
date. This will guarantee the food and service for the date requested.
The final count, the final menu and 50% of the final bill are
required one week prior to the event. The final bill will be provided the
evening of the event and will be due interest free within ten days of the
event. The final count may increase until 24 hours before the event and
may not decrease from the count provided. If the final count is not
provided one week prior to the event the client will be billed for and
food will be prepared for the count on the signed contract.
Clients may cancel an event 48 hours prior to the event and not be
billed for the remainder of the monies owed. All money collected prior
to this point is nonrefundable.
Delivery charges may be applied if the event count is less than 30
people or over 20 miles from the square of Carlisle.
Service charges will be applied for staffing, special requests, bar
tending service and liability, event planning and / or coordination.
Left Over Foods
The client has the option to keep all of the leftovers. The client is
responsible for providing the containers to take the left over food. If the
food is not wanted L & D catering will donate it to Project Share or the
Liquor Liability Policy
L & D catering carries a minimum of $1,000,000 liquor liability
policy covering the service of alcohol. L & D Catering does not have a
liquor license and cannot purchase liquor for an event. When serving
alcohol L & D Catering Inc. will supply a TIP/RAMP certified bar tender
for the event and will adhere to all PA Liquor Control Board Guidelines.
The client is responsible for all tables, chairs, real silverware, real
plate ware, and any linens needed. L & D Catering can and will help
coordinate the rental of these products (a fee may apply). Any rental
charges incurred are the responsibility of the client and the client will be
billed directly from the rental company.
