International Women's Day
Cheltenham Soroptimists are hosting an event entitled "Women making
a Difference" on Sat. 6th March at 2.30pm in St Andrews Church,
Montpellier. Dr Emily Hinton will be speaking on her work in S. Sudan.
Tea & cakes available.
This Wednesday, Feb 17th Elaine is leading a 5 mile walk on the
Cotswold Way south from the M4. Please can you contact her well in
advance to arrange transport. This is a change to the programme to
enable us to see the Severn bore on Tuesday March 2nd.
There are some spaces on the flower rota especially during February
and March. If you would like to give flowers please put your name
against the appropriate date and talk to the arranger for that day.
Learning to tread lightly in God's planet
Martin Davis of local Christian Ecology Link has arranged this talk by
Father Tom Cullinan, monk priest of Liverpool Archdiocese (author of 'If
the eye be sound', 'The Passion of Political Love', 'Presence' etc).

The February issue of 'Outlook' is available today. If you have not
obtained a copy already please collect one from the Foyer before you

There will be a performance of Stainer's Crucifixion on the evening of
March 28th (Palm Sunday). Interested singers are invited to join the
augmented choir. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings at 8pm and will
continue until the performance. Come along and join us.
Film showing of “In Transition”
There will be a film showing here on Thursday 25th Feb at 7.00 pm.
The film lasts around an hour. Entrance is free and any offers to assist
with refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits & discussion in the hall
afterwards) would be gratefully received. More information about the

There will be a church family party on March 6th on the theme of a

Please bring your old magazines for others to buy at 10p to Traidgreen
funds. (Food magazines and good quality glossies are the most popular.)

CAN YOU HELP?
The Morrells are unable to run the Coffee Shop on Easter Saturday 3rd
April (from 10.30 - 12 noon) and have been unable to swap duties. We
are looking for 2 volunteers to help on this occasion. If you are willing
