The rental vehicle insurance is $10/day above your rental fee. You need to
bring a photocopy of this insurance when you pick up the motorhome. The
form you should request (at any autoplan office) is the “Rental Vehicle Policy”,
form APV281. This insures the vehicle under your name.

Rental Day
Rental Day is based on number of days the vehicle is used. Rental charges are
in effect upon pick-up. For example, if the vehicle is rented for Friday (pick up
day), Saturday and Sunday (return day), then the charge would be $300.00.

Renter Assistance Guide
The Renter Assistance Guide discusses operation of the motorhome from the
cab to features in the living quarters. Important instructional information is
included in the Renter Assistance Guide. You are responsible for reading the
Renter Assistance Guide thoroughly.

Security Deposit
A security deposit of half of the total estimated rental charges is payable at
departure. This can include the reservation deposit. Upon return, all extra
charges, if any, are balanced against the security deposit.

Driver Requirements
All drivers must be at least 21 years old, listed on and have signed the Rental
Agreement and will be bound by Terms and Conditions of the Rental
Agreement at vehicle pickup.

Familiarization Tour
A familiarization tour of approximately 20 minutes is required before departure.

Fuel Information
The rental vehicle will contain a full tank of gasoline and a full tank of propane
at departure. Please return fuels at the same level.

Breakdown Assistance and Repair Reimbursement
During a motorhome vacation some aspects of the vehicle or coach systems
may fail or be impaired. Our objective is to get you back on the road as quickly
as possible. All repairs require authorization by phone by the registered owner of
the vehicle. Your expenses for authorized repairs, oil change, etc. will be paid
directly by the registered owner of the vehicle or will be reimbursed upon
presentation of receipts.
In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or less, through no
fault of yours, our responsibility to you is limited to a refund of the daily rental rate
or portion thereof. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, appliance
malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for
repair time to these items.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown that is immediately reported to the
registered owner and requires the vehicle to be in repair for more than 12 hours,
living/transportation expenses are not reimbursable.

Exterior Storage
Sorry, storing items on vehicle roof or exteriors is not permitted. You may carry
bikes on a bike rack. Ask me about the rack if you don’t have one.

Refueling and Servicing
You must turn off engine and all ignition sources including: gas appliances,
refrigerator, hot water heater, stove, furnace, etc. each time you refuel-before
you enter the gas station. You are responsible for checking and maintaining
engine oil, fluids, tire pressure, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as
reporting mechanical failures immediately. Checking the level of oil at each
refueling is particularly important. You may be held responsible for mechanical
damage if you fail to do so.

In the event of an accident, you must notify the registered owner of the vehicle
immediately from the scene of the accident. You will be given instructions on
how to proceed. You must also obtain a police report. If you are unable to
obtain a police report at the scene of the accident, you must go to the local
police station and obtain a report.

Damage to Vehicle – Breach of Terms & Conditions of Rental Contract - Your
If the Rental Contract is breached or if you fail to secure a police report, or if you
engage in prohibited uses, you are responsible for any and all loss of or damage
to the vehicle from any cause, regardless of fault and all related expenses,
including theft and vandalism.

Parking / Traffic Violations
You are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violations at
rental return. You will be charged for any charges/fines/penalties issued to the
registered owner of the vehicle in addition to an administrative fee of up to
$25.00 if you do not report a parking/traffic violation upon return.
