MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL, MR. MARTINSEN
I would like extend a big “Thank You” to our PFO and Chairperson, Lorraine Bishop and her
dedicated staff for their work in making the Cupid’s Ball so successful. Lorraine organized a well
planned event and even “volunteered” members of her family to work the evening which freed up time
for the PFO volunteers to spend time with their families.
The MPR was transformed into a sea of hearts. It was very satisfying to see the expressions
of joy on the faces of those students attending as they danced the night away with their mom or dad.
I talked to many parents who were having as much fun as their children did in this community-
bonding event. I personally had a wonderful time and was joined by my daughter, Maggie. When we
arrived at home, Maggie told Diane that she had a “really good time and was glad she went.” Thank
you again to everyone who contributed, it was a great school event!
